A Message from our President...
Thankful for our Members

I am thankful for all our Aggie Moms! We have such a great group of caring and fun ladies that make me proud and grateful to be a part of Collin County Aggie Moms!

Some notes on upcoming events this month:

  • 11/12 Pecan Bagging - This is a fun activity to sign up for. An added benefit is you get to take your order with you at the end of your shift (instead of waiting until 3 p.m.).
  • 11/14 General Meeting - Reminder that this is the 2nd Monday this month.
  • 11/19 Holiday Gift Market – Several Aggie Mom Clubs will be participating. Get some shopping done early!
  • 11/20 Poinsettia orders are due – Ordering online is easy.
  • 11/29 Rustic Cuff Night – Socialize and shop to fundraise at Legacy West!

I hope to see you at one or all of these events!

Thanks and Gig ‘em!

What is your board position and a brief description of what you do for CCAM?

As the Aggie Moms Connecting Chair, I coordinate events for Aggie Moms in Collin County.  I want to bring people together, socialize, network, and foster new friendships.  My goal is to meet a new Aggie mom at each event. If you see me please introduce yourself, I'm always ready to make new friends.

When I am not volunteering, I am a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth.

Where do you live?

McKinney, TX

Where did you attend college?

University of Texas at Dallas

Tell us about your kids:

I have two sons and a daughter (Dante Nuñez UNT Grad, Domenic Nuñez TAMU Construction Science '24, and Ali Nuñez 16) -- we enjoy laughing, playing and having fun!

What are your hobbies?

Spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy bringing people together, love traveling, listening to music, walking, and spending time outdoors.

What is a good book you've read recently?

American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins, Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins

What is your most favorite vacation you've ever taken or favorite place you've traveled to?

One of my favorite vacations was a girls trip to Greece in 2020. The people, food and scenery were AMAZING!

What is something most people don't know about you?

I’m Mexican American and I am fluent in Spanish.

What is your favorite thing about Texas A&M?

I have always been impressed with the AGGIE spirit. I believe their passion and support towards one another exceeds any other school.

What is some advice you would give a new student at A&M?

As a parent I can say that YOU (student) have given us more joy and happiness that you can imagine.  We are very proud of you. Believe in yourself.  When encountering a large task, break it up into smaller tasks.  Things tend to be easier with a positive attitude.  And last but not least, always remember to SMILE!

What is some advice you would give a MOM of a new student at A&M?

Don’t be shy, we’re all in the same boat.

Join us at the activities we have planned, help us get to know you.
