Did you know…there are four (4) different type of “users” in our Membership Toolkit system:

1) A Member, which requires an account be created using an email address and password for log-inAND has purchased (or renewed) a membership with our Club. This user status is usually required to sign-up for most social events, to be eligible to volunteer, and for some member-only purchases such as Goodie Bags. Only members can access AND be visible in the online directory. Also, some website content

pages are restricted to be viewed by members only. Most newsletters/emails are sent to member email addresses only after the October 1st date.

2) A Contact, which requires an account be created using an email address and password for log-in, and has not yet purchased a membership. Their personal information can be added to the site, but visible by administrators only. These persons can access only limited information; therefore, we encourage them to purchase or renew their membership with our Club.

3) A Guest, which does NOT require an account to be created, nor will they need to enter personal information or purchase a membership. These persons can access only limited information and will instead have access to shop by using a direct URL (link) to order items such as Pecans and Poinsettias or to fill-out data forms such as the Scholarship Application. These persons are typically external contacts who simply want to support or loosely associate by typing-in basic information every time they conduct business with our Club.

4) An Admin, which requires an account be created using a Club email address and password for log-in. NO personal data should be entered, nor should any purchases be made using the Admin account as these accounts will trade hands after every Club election. These persons are “designated” as members in the system so they can access and test site pages and forms easily. These persons have authority over the system and can access the Dashboard to conduct Club business according to their Board position.

Board Officer, Chair, and Committee Interest 2023-2024

It is only with your help that our Club can continue to conduct business. Please let us know your interest in a Collin County Aggie Moms Board position. Please sign-up for all positions that interest you including volunteering on various committees!

(*The Parliamentarian and Historian positions are appointed by the President.) Committee Chair positions will be established and appointed by the President, with the exception of the Scholarship Committee.

Board Meetings are typically held on the first Monday of every month from September-May in the evening, but are scheduled at the discretion of the President. (A planning meeting is held on a Saturday morning in the summer.) Please review the ByLaws and Standing Rules for further detail.

Nothing shows the Aggie tradition of service like the Big Event--the largest one-day student-run service project in the nation. Big Event began unceremoniously in 1982 with six Aggies volunteering to clean up a local cemetery. Since that time, an ever-increasing number of Aggies have volunteered their time in order to create, as they say, "one big day, one big thanks, and one Big Event." In 2015 more than 22,000 Texas A&M students, faculty and staff came together to say "thank you" to the residents of Bryan/College Station for supporting and hosting them while they attend Texas A&M. Spreading throughout the community, Aggie Volunteers worked on approximately 2,500 community service jobs.

4th Annual Golf Tournament

Howdy! Our 4th Annual Spring Golf Tournament will be on Monday, April 24th at the Hurricane Creek Country Club in Anna. We are in full swing working to coordinate corporate sponsorship opportunities!

Ready to Sponsor? Know someone who will?

We need every Collin County Aggie Mom to identify someone in your network we can reach out to for financial support: local business owners, organizations or individuals that have a deep reach in the North Texas communities.

Collin County is a big place, and we generate a lot of big business for the State of Texas and Aggie Network! Please check your contacts and send information to Karen Walker and Kathy Terzis at  CCAMFundraiser@aggienetwork.com. Several levels of patronage have been established and are available to review at our new platform, Charity Golf Today. For information and the associated benefits with each level please visit our website  CCAM 4th Annual Golf Tournament

No amount is too small! We also need items for door prizes – so items and gift cards are also appreciated.

What is your board position and a brief description of what you do for CCAM? My position is VP Socials. Basically we are in charge of making sure we have fun refreshments at our meetings.

Where do you live?  Plano

Where did you attend college? I am a Texas A&M former student, class of ‘83.

Tell us about your kids: Paul is class of ‘25, a drummer in the band, and a third generation Aggie. Elyza is 24 and working in the Dallas area.

What are your hobbies?  I love to read. I also workout because I love to eat!

What is a good book you've read recently? I just read Big Little Lies. It is a great page turner!

What is your most favorite vacation you've ever taken or favorite place you've traveled to? I went to Italy in 2019. The Italian people, the history, the architecture and of course the food and wine are all amazing.

What is something most people don't know about you? I lived in Africa when I was young.

What is your favorite thing about Texas A&M?  My heart is so full when I reflect on the fact that my son is experiencing some of the same traditions that my brothers, my dad and myself did.

What is some advice you would give a new student at A&M? Go to fish camp, learn the traditions and then make sure to experience them all while on campus.

What is some advice you would give a MOM of a new student at A&M? Get involved in your Aggie mom club, go to a few Aggie football games and go to family weekends so that you know what A&M is all about. It is a special place.

Last but not least… a little Aggie Humor

You are excited to visit with your Aggie now that they are home for the semester…
